Ensemble

 

The Ensemble was founded in 1995 to give pre-professional performing dance experience to qualified students of the Academy of Dance Arts.

 

Auditions are held each September for dancers who wish to perform at an advanced dance level. Ensemble Dancers are required to study multiple forms of dance and dedicate much of their free time to class and rehersals.

 

The Academy of Dance Arts Ensemble has hosted "Our Gifts For Our King", a benefit holiday concert for Mission of Hope, to help raise funds for rural families of Appalachia.

 

The Ensemble performs for local charities, community organizations, and presents two main stage dance productions each year: The Winter/Holiday Concert and a Spring Concert.

 

Former Ensemble members have received numerous dance scholarships, and continued their education by completing degrees in dance. Several of our past dance students have gone on to teach at dance studios, at college level, and are performers with local, regional, and international dance companies.
